FORD, Lillian Pellettieri, Passed away on the 25th day of September 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Hill Ford, the renown Southern writer, lecturer and literary instructor; parents, Emile Charles and Christine Shelton Pellettieri; brother Charles William Pellettieri also known as Wesdon Bishop movie producer. She was a graduate of St. Bernard Academy, Nashville and completed a B.A. and M.A. from George Peabody College, Nashville, where she was treasurer of Pi Gamma Chi. Mrs. Ford had a counseling degree from UCLA. She was a retired teacher with the Beverly Hills Unified School District. She was formerly a member of St. George Episcopal Church for a number of years and was treasurer of St Francis Chapter, Daughters of the King. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving sister, Mary Christine Browning, Nashville, TN and two nieces, Emily Browning-May and Lily Browning, one great-niece and two great-nephews, as well as stepchildren Elizabeth Ford, Jackson, TN, Dr. Charles Davis Ford, Cedar Grove TN, and Jesse Hill “Jay” Ford III, Jackson, TN, and nine step-grandchildren. Memorial service will be conducted at ten thirty o’clock in the morning, Saturday, the 6th of October at St. Henry Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In in lieu of customary remembrances, the family request with gratitude that contributions be directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation (ADEPEA) or Room in the Inn. A Private burial at Calvary Cemetery.
