Linda Giordano Blackie of Nashville, TN passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 79. She was born on July 14, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ where she grew up with her brother and both of her parents in a suburban neighborhood. She had many relatives whom she spent holidays and summers with.
She graduated from Harcum Junior College in 1965 with an associate degree. She worked as a medical secretary at Cornell University and then as a secretary for Pfizer Pharmaceutical. She is preceded in death by her parents Linda and Joe Giordano and her husband William Blackie Jr. She is survived by her daughter Van Lynn Blackie, brother Joseph Giordano, sister-in-law Orfa Giordano, and sister-in-law Van Cooke.
The family would like to thank West Meade Place and Caris Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Mount Olivet Cemetery on Friday April 25, 2025 at 11:00 am.
