Linda Coral Cawthon, age 76, of Smyrna, TN passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. Linda was born December 31, 1945 in Franklin, TN, daughter of Edwin and Margaret (Peach) Redmond. She married Jack Cawthon and together they built Cawthon's Catering & Jacks BBQ. Linda was a model and Fashion Director for Castner Knott for 14 years.
Linda was a self-proclaimed diva who always lit up a room. Her career highlight and greatest joy was during her years as a Fashion Director. She created a wonderful team of models and performers that put on great productions for Nashville area events and charities over the years. She was known to say, “Fashion represents the times in which we live.” Linda loved to empower both men and women to look and feel their best. She produced many great shows and fashion numbers and was proud of her career. She went from a shy young model to an enchanting public speaker and master of ceremonies, who always held her audience captivated.
Linda is survived by her first husband & devoted friend, Jack Cawthon; her son Jay Hamilton Cawthon (Stacey Ann); and her daughter Elizabeth Rose Cawthon (Justin Simcik); two sisters Mary Alice (Dale) Harvey and Margaret Ann (Jack) White; niece Shelly Smith (James); nephew Ricky Ford; grandson Finn Oliver; great-niece Mary (Dan) Henderson and great nephew Jonathan (Whitney) Sullivan.
