Lois Conner

Lois Emogene "Jeanne" Conner, age 84, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born on May 9, 1937 in Carthage, Tennessee to Mary Oma and Johnnie Conner. She later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated from Cohn High School in 1955 and thereafter raised her family. She spent her life working as a Bookkeeper and in Retail for companies including; Martin Gilmore, Hailey Plumbing and Walmart. Lois was a dedicated Christian. She had a soft spot for animals and in her down time enjoyed tracing through her roots through genealogy.

Lois was preceded in death by her mother Mary Oma; father Johnnie Conner; and her sister Carrean.

Lois is survived by her daughter Sharon Proctor Scruggs (Chuck); her grandsons Chad Scruggs (Jada), Andrew Scruggs, and Woovens Scruggs; and her granddaughters Kara Arnold (Adam) and Angela Butler (Phillip), her great grandchildren John Randall Scruggs, Charlie Scruggs, Carter Scruggs, Hallie Scruggs, Jackson Arnold, Finn Arnold, Chip Arnold, Lucky Arnold, Adeline Butler, Charlie Butler as well as her nieces Mary Phelps, Debbie Dixon; and her nephews James Shadowens and Travis Shadowens.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn Memorial Park. 660 Thompson ln. Nashville, Tennessee.
