Lola Vaughn Wooldridge, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Wooldridge; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by 2 nieces; 4 nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Lola was a Daughter of the American Revolution, raised in Putnam Co. and was a resident of Nashville for over 60 years. She was a 63 year employee with the State of Tennessee. A devoted patriot, formerly served as president of the Davidson County Democratic Women’s Club. Visitation will be held from five until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 18th of September 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven thirty in the morning on Friday, the 19th of September in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Entombment to follow in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
