

Mrs. Goodman was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on March 11, 1929, the daughter of the late John F. Smith and Helen Louise Bruno. She attended Bell Road Baptist Church. In the last two years of her life, she found pleasure in painting watercolors.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, William W. “Bill” Goodman; one son, Mike Goodman; three daughters, Linda (Dusty) Estes, Lisa (Brad) Bishop, and Debbie (Brent) DeMoss; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from one o’clock until four o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, Sunday, October 4, 2015, from two o’clock until five o’clock in the evening, and also on Monday, October 5, 2015, from one-thirty until the funeral hour.
The celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015, at two-thirty in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
