Lula Marie Burrum

Lula Marie Burrum, age 87, of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born July 12, 1935 in Nashville, Tennessee to the Late, Berthold Harris Joscelyn and Mai Dell McEwen Joscelyn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 62 years, Charles L. Burrum; son, Charles H. Burrum; and siblings, James "Jake" Jocelyn and Julia "JuJu" Linebaugh.

She is survived by her children; three daughters, Patty Burrum, Sandy (Glenn) Harbin and Cynthia (Johnny) Kelly, and two sons, Gary (Judy) Burrum and Randy Burrum, daughter-in-law; Shirley Burrum, nine grandchildren; Bryant (Jennifer) Burrum, Stephen (Michelle) Burrum, Karen Burrum, Christy (Brad) Street, Cody Burrum, Dustin Burrum, Brittney Burrum, Matthew (Barbie) McKinney, and Jason (Nicole) McKinney, and ten great-grandchildren, two-great-great-grandchildren and sister, Nancy Howell

Lula was a loving and devoted housewife, who along with her husband Charles loved to travel with their family. She loved to bake and cook, go shopping for deals and the thrill of the slots at the Casino. "Mawmaw" as she was affectionally known, will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from eleven o'clock in the morning until one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
