Lynn was born on January 11th, 1949 in Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from Overton High School and went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She ultimately earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Case Western University's Nurse Midwifery program.
After a long career as an OB nurse, she found her true calling as a Midwife, working primarily in underserved communities locally and in rural Kentucky. She passed on a love of music, Vols football, animals, cooking, and the outdoors to her children.
Family was always the center of Lynn's world. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Denny, and their children Scott (Laura), Doug (Janelle) and Kathryn (Jonah), and three grandchildren.
Her family and friends will always remember her as an incredibly loving and giving spirit who made her home and heart open to all.
The service will be held on Friday, September 7th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Franklin at one o’clock, with visitation beginning at eleven o’clock at the church. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
