Margaret Elizabeth Taylor Gambill, age 95, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on January 26, 2021. She was born on December 25, 1925 in Nashville, Tennessee to G.W. and Basil Taylor. Mrs. Gambill is also preceded in death by her husband, James William Gambill; and brother, Robert Taylor.
She is survived by Ron Gambill (Reida), Sharon Reed (Joe), and Michael Gambill; daughter-in-law, Patti Gambill; grandchildren, Alison Grisso (Heath), Ashley Woronka (Chris), Abby Gambill, James Gambill (Brittany), Amy Zerner (Tristen), Ben Williamson, Sara Hambrick (Brian), and Seth Williamson (Tori); thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Lisa Sue Jobe (Martin).
Mr. & Mrs. Gambill married during World War II in 1944. They celebrated 73 years of marriage at the time of Mr. Gambill’s passing. She worked with her husband in bookkeeping and sales at Gambill Electric Battery Company, The Coin Purse, and then as a Minister’s wife. Mrs. Gambill enjoyed bowling, badminton, board games, and going to the beach.
A Graveside service for immediate family will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Minister Joe Reed officiating and Mr. Darrell McGregor as song leader.
Heath Grisso, Cooper Grisso, Chris Woronka, James Gambill, Tristen Zerner, Ben Williamson, Brian Hambrick, and Seth Williamson will serve as pallbearers.
