Margaret Dillon Hare, age 91, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born, January 5, 1925, one of nine children of the late Ollie Mc York and Sarah Pearl Neal.
She is survived by three daughters, Darlene Gifford, Debbie Parker, and Margie Dunn; and one son, Jimmy (Rhonda) Dillon Jr. She was preceded in death, in 2015, by her oldest son, Richard (Susie) Dillon.
She leaves behind eight grandchildren: Matt Dillon, Kimberly Dillon, Kristi (Roger) Rollins, Deborah (Alan) Clark, Dana Gifford, Jennifer Dillon, Chris Dillon, Dillon Dunn and two step grandchildren, Tony Dowlen and Tammy (Kenny Wade) Dodson. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at one o' clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
