Born in Charlotte, Tennessee on August 6, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Howard Harris and Evvie Nicks Harris. Preceded in death by her husband of (Married 5 Aug 1939) 76 years, Allan Cowden Little, and by her sister, Agnes Harris Boyce. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Dan Alan Little and Richard Cowden Little, and by an adult daughter, Jane Harris Little. Margaret’s family moved to Nashville in 1922 and she attended the Nashville public schools. She graduated from Hume-Fogg High school in the large class of 1934 and later from the Andrew Jackson Business College. During World War II and the Korean conflict she served in the selective service system. She quit regular public employment when Jane was born. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at ten o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
