She is preceded in passing by five sisters and six brothers out of her 11 siblings, leaving one sister, Catherine Richardson of Nashville surviving. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Although Mrs. Taylor was born and passed away in Waverly, Tennessee, she was a long-time resident of Nashville and proud member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ during her time in the city. She enjoyed a career with both Genesco Shoes and Service Merchandise.
Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2018 for visitation from four o’clock to eight o’clock in the evening, and again on Saturday, January 6, 2018, from ten o’clock to eleven-thirty in the morning followed by her funeral at eleven-thirty. Wavell Stewart of Crieve Hall Church of Christ officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
