Mark Benson Hancock

Mark is survived by his wife of fifty-two (52) years, Janice Faye Hancock; two(2) children: Michael Brian Hancock and Amy Denise (George) Sims; one(1) sister: Janice Ann Rader. Mark is also survived by five(5) grandchildren: Hailey, Sydnee and Josie Hancock; Olivia and Kendal Sims, and two(2) great-grandchildren: Eva and Zoe Hancock. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ina Hancock, and brother, William Edgar Hancock.

Mark was a graduate of Donelson High School (’67). He retired from the State of TN as a data processor after 40 years of employment.

Special thanks to the care team of Alive Hospice for the excellent compassion and care that they provided to Mark during his last few weeks.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 12:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Mark would like memorial contributions to be made to Alive Hospice.
