Martha "Flugie" Elizabeth Allen

Martha "Flugie" Elizabeth Allen, age 87, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. Born in Nashville on January 21, 1939, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rebecca "Pink" Pinkleton and Robert Pinkleton.

Martha was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved reading books, especially novels by James Patterson, and never missed an episode of Dr. Pimple Popper. She also enjoyed dining with family and friends at County Junction in Joelton, where she made many happy memories. Martha was a faithful participant at the Hope Center in Joelton, where she enjoyed spending time with others in the community.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her kind heart, and the many special moments she shared with those who knew and loved her.

Martha is survived by her children, Danny Allen (Cathy), Lisa Burnett (Roger Puckett), and David Allen; her grandchildren, James Allen, Denton Allen, Gracie Allen, and Kyle Burnett; and her great-grandchildren, Caitlin Allen, Jordan Allen, Cassi Allen, Kolby Allen, and Hunter Allen.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Allen; her parents, Rebecca "Pink" Pinkleton and Robert Pinkleton; her sister, Ann Darby; and her brother, Bobby Pinkleton.

Visitation for Martha will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow.

Martha's memory will be treasured by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
