Martha Ann Hill Franklin, TN With heavy hearts, our family said goodbye to our precious Markie on the 23rd of September 2014. Markie, you were a gem - kind, loving, generous, full of spunk and southern charm. We will miss you, but will carry your love and memory with us in our hearts forever. Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Hill, Jr.; and her three sisters, Louise, Ruth and Sue. Survived by her children, Suzanne Nichols and her husband Harold "Buzzy", Shelley Cook and her husband Forest, and Trey Hill and his wife Vicky; and grandchildren, Hayden Cook, Addison Nichols, Larson Cook, Presley Hill, and Brady Hill. The family will gather with friends for a time of visitation and remembrance today at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home from five o'clock until eight o'clock this evening. A Celebration of Life service will be held the morning of Friday, the 26th of September 2014 at eleven-thirty at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall, with visitation one hour prior. Entombment to follow at Woodlawn's Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society.
