Martin Christie Waddell

Martin was born in Chapel Hill, NC on 11/23/1957 from parents, Wiiliam and Aubrey Waddell.

He married the love of his life, Ann Waddell on 3/1/1984 in Nashville, TN.

Martin had a broad-spanning career in a multitude of fields that included construction, administrative management, owning his own business, and finishing by working for many years with his loving wife in Real Estate.

Martin had many passions in life as his greatest joy was finding amazement in all that life offered. Whether that was camping, going to Titans games, hunting and fishing, but he especially loved cooking. His most enjoyable thoughts were about cooking something amazing for someone that he cared for. His love for others was matched only by his extreme personality that he shared with everyone and hid from no one.

He is survived by his son, Robert Waddell; daughter-in-law, Sarah; two grandsons, Shane and Gavin; Stepmother, Carolyn Marlowe; brother Bill Waddell; and sister, Amy Cannon.

We will hold a Celebration of Life for Martin on 6/27/26 from 3-5 pm with food and drink available for all, at 101 Sunrise Cir. Franklin, TN 37067.
