COLE, Mary Ellen age 90 of Nashville, January 29, 2012. Daughter of the late Louis Garrigus Cole and Cynthia Barnes Cole. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Mary was a 1941 graduate of David Lipscomb College. She worked for the Civil Service and the VA Hospital for a combined total of 37 years. Mary was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, currently attending Granny White Church of Christ. Funeral service will be conducted at one p.m. the afternoon of Wednesday February 1, 2012 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from five to seven p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to Lipscomb University.
