Mrs. Medley was born in Nashville, TN, on August 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Harvey Patrick Barnett and Nannie Lou Hall Barnett. Mrs. Medley was a member of Woodbine United Methodist Church and worked many years with Castner-Knott and Dillard’s. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Medley was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Medley.
Survivors include a son, Danny (Suzanne) Medley; a daughter, Becky (Lloyd) Lynd; three grandchildren, Jared (Kayley) Lynd, Emily (Chris) Marks, and Daniel Medley; and a brother, Samuel (Patty) Barnett.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from eleven o’clock until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Woodbine United Methodist Church.
