Mary Lee Morrison, age 94, Donelson, TN, passed away peacefully in her home July 15, 2018. Mary was born in Evergreen, AL, daughter of the late Elbert Joseph and Para Lee McKenzie. Mary was married 61years to Ernest Morrison until his passing in 2007. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, an incredible gardener and seamstress, member of Lakewood Baptist Church and retired from the State of Tennessee government. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, James McKenzie, and sisters, Voncille Avery, Dorothy McMillan, Margaret Kitchens and Jane Wissler. She is survived by sons, Franklin & James Morrison; daughters, Gerry (Richard) Sams, Connie (John) Dehnart; grandchildren, Lauren & Will Dehnart; brother, Leon (Jane) Mckenzie; sisters, Mabel Morgan, Suzie (Jim) Cook; and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Middle TN chapter.
Visitation nine in the morning until time of Funeral Services at ten in the morning on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
