Mrs. Goodrich was born in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late Bailey B. Simpkins and Hope McWherter Simpkins. She graduated from Ward Belmont College and was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi. Mrs. Goodrich was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church and Harbison Fellowship Class. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodrich was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Goodrich.
Survivors include her children, M. Jay (Cynthia) Rice, Cathy (Allen) Drake, and Sandra (Gene) Jackson; four grandchildren, Gené (K.C.) Winfrey, Eve (Derek) Southworth, Trey (Ali) Tyndall, and Madison Tyndall; and four great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017, at one o’clock at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from six o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
