Mrs. Fletcher was born in Calloway County, KY, on January 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Garnett Leon Morris and Rhoda Elizabeth Outland Morris. She traveled and saw the world and was an honest disciple of Jesus Christ! There are many lives that she touched and she was loved by so many. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Fletcher and a granddaughter, Bethany Kate Kelley.
Survivors include her son, George M. Fletcher; a daughter, Gelita Jo Kelley (Tony); three grandchildren, Tiffany Tribe (Bryce), Melany Rose (Steve), and Melissa Stewart (Luke); seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Rose, Sadie Tribe, Mollie Tribe, Bethany Rose, Josie Tribe, Grant Stewart, and Reed Stewart; and a sister, Isoetta Steely.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from four o’clock until eight o’clock and Friday from noon until the funeral hour at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
