Maxine Daniel Finney

Maxine Daniel Finney, age 88 of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017. She was born April 22, 1929 in Humphreys County, and was the last surviving of 10 children to the late William & Mildred Daniel. Maxine was the previous owner of Brentwood Flower Shoppe, and a longtime member of the Builders Sunday School Class at Crievewood United Methodist Church. Along with her parents and siblings, Maxine is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bill Finney; and son, Gary Finney. Surviving family includes, daughters, Melinda Rigsby, Melissa (Phil) Adkisson, Marlene (Brian) Petty; daughter-in-law, Beth Finney; and grandchildren, Brandon Rigsby, Jake Adkisson, Robby Adkisson, Morgan Adkisson, Derek Finney, and Alec Finney. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 11:00 am at Crievewood United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, December 12th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Mount Olivet Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the service at Crievewood United Methodist Church (451 Hogan Rd, Nashville). Memorial contributions may be in honor of Maxine to either the Crievewood UMC or Alzheimer's Association.
