She was born on June 28, 1940, in Salmon, Idaho, the daughter of the late Arthur Andrew and Myrtle Elinor Holm Ottenbacher. She enjoyed reading and was a member of three book clubs. She loved to travel and collect antiques.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gailen Ottenbacher.
She is survived by two sisters, Andrea A. Hansen and her husband, Dale, and LeiLani A. Rahn and her husband, Kenneth; one brother, Kenneth A. Ottenbacher and his wife, Linda; two nephews; four nieces, and six cats that she loved dearly.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37214.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
