We are so sorry to hear that Mike has completed his earthly life.  He will certainly be missed.  We certainly have fond memories of chess club days and other home school events.  May you celebrate Mike's life even as you mourn his passing.

I knew Michael when he worked at the UK Art Museum. A wonderful, caring, kind man. So sorry for his passing.

Dear Michael, 
I have often missed our pre-work cafe klatches with Dennis from your days in Cincinnati. Thank you for all the gifts- your generosity, love, friendship, sense of wonder, keen observations about pop culture and life, as well as your sharp wit. 

Thank you for sharing so much yourself with the world and showing us how this game of life is done. Now it is up to the rest of us to keep paying it forward with the same spirit of giving.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael for several years at the Frist Center for the visual arts.  He was a wonderful human being.  Always taking the high road under the pressure of event deadlines and human error and acknowledging one's efforts vs. one's frailties.  He was a very unique and talented personality within his industry.

I had the honor of starting my museum career in Kentucky working with Michael. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this extraordinary man. Let's just say we all learned from him and that included his bosses. Someday, when we can all stop hurting quite so badly, I will share photos and Michael notes from those early days. And we'll laugh and rejoice in Michael's many, many gifts.

Michael was such a kind and caring man.  My heart goes out to your family in this time of loss.  He loved you all so dearly and spoke openly and often about his love and pride for his family, friends, and beloved pets.  Sending hugs.

This light represents the light Michael shined on the world and it is still beaming down on us.

There are so many words to describe  the wonderful person that my cousin Michael was that I could fill an entire book just singing his praises. But thats not something he would've wanted. Michael was not only loving and kind  to everyone he met, he was also humble, his actions and values just being part of who he was and doing the right things. His life was a light for so many people and his memory will continue to shine that light on all who loved him. Rest in peace, dear Michael. See you on the other side.

Bebe, words are shallow at a time like this, but know that my heart hurts for you and your family.
