Mildred Evelyn Crow Sargent - Age 91. Preceded in death is husband, Arnold Dale Crow; father, Edward C. Martin; mother, Alpha Eunice Underwood; sister, Juanita Grainger, and sons, Jerry Crow and Richard Crow. She is survived by sister, Judy C. Hendrix and husband Harry W. Hendrix; sons, Larry W. Crow and wife Penny Crow & David H. Crow; grandchildren, Stephanie L. Chatham, Michele L. Crow, Jason P. Crow, Janet M. Netherton, and John D. Crow; great-granchildren, Erin E. Harris Chelsea A. Harris, Katharine M. Harris, Justin S. King, Alyson B. Sledge, G. Mitchell King, Macy J. Crow, H, Nevin Crow, Ella R. Crow, Jayden T. Crow, Jacob M. Crow, and Lucus Crow. Mildred held a place of love and honor by her family. She was sister, mother, granny, teacher, author, She dedicated the "You can Do It" Rosie the Riveter Stamp, and she participated in the WWII Memorial dedication. She started college at age 40, and completed all but her doctorate thesis. She wrote three published historical reference books. A Memorial Graveside Service will be on Saturday, May 18th 2013 at 4 p.m., Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
