Born on September 28, 1929, in Cottontown, Tennessee, Mildred was a woman of faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She graduated from Gallatin High School and carried the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance throughout her life.
On April 5, 1952, she married the love of her life, Houston R. Womack, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Together they built a loving home and shared many cherished years filled with family, friendship, and treasured memories.
Mildred was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and dedication to those she loved. She found great joy in spending time with her family and celebrating life’s special moments with those closest to her. Her wisdom, grace, and caring nature touched the lives of many and will be remembered for generations to come.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her sons, Houston D. Womack and Wesley J. Womack; her grandchildren, Houston Andrew Womack, and Jennifer Lynn Womack; and her great-grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Womack and Anniston Reese Womack.
Mildred’s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
