Miriam Belle Mamlin
July 31, 1923 – February 18, 2021
Miriam Mamlin age 97, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Miriam was born on July 31, 1923 in Nashville, the daughter of Nathan D. and Hattie Mai Weise. She married Robert Mamlin on October 15, 1946 in Nashville. Her husband and parents precede her in death.
Surviving are her daughters, Jean (Irving) Farber and Bonnie Kupper; grandchildren, Brian Farber, Lindsey Kupper, and Lauren Farber Kelly; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Patrick Kelly; brother, Samuel (Marilyn) Weise; nieces, Cindy Miller and Ellen Brown; and nephews, Joel Weise, Bill; Weise, Brad Weise, and Jay Straim.
Miriam attended Woodmont Elementary School, West High School, and the University of Wisconsin. A devoted wife, mother, and daughter, family meant everything to Miriam. She loved to travel extensively throughout the world with her husband. Miriam also enjoyed bowling, dancing, cards, casinos, and mahjong.
Miriam was a member of the Woodmont Country Club and Temple.
A graveside service was held at Temple Cemetery on February 24, 2021.

Jim Goins and I were privileged to know Bob and Miriam as neighbors at Wessex Towers in Nashville. They were welcoming to us when we moved onto the same floor as they, and we shared many meals together. They are both missed very much. Tim Quain
