HICKMAN, Morris Wiles “Buddy” age 77, passed away on January 29, 2012. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Koonce Hickman and his father William Price Hickman. Buddy is survived by his wife Alice Shealy Hickman; daughters Teresa Hickman Roberts (Joe), Deborah Ruth Hickman Driggers, Carolann Hickman Bryant (Jim); stepchildren Robert Thames, Nicole Worthy, Michael Stamper; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother William L. Hickman and his sister Pamela Hickman.
He attended Cohn High School and the University of TN, graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. He was a Certified Public Accountant for over 40 yrs, member and past president of the Capitol City Golf Association, served as a Marine during 1952-1954, and an active Shriner.
Visitation will be held from three o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 3rd of February, at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service is to be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, the 4th of February, at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held one hour prior the service. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital and the American Heart Association.
