Nadine G. Chambers

Nadine G. Chambers, age 94 of Nashville, TN, went to be with the good Lord on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born on December 20, 1929 to the late Wade and Vera Goolsby and had two siblings Robert Goolsby and Violet Blazer (Goolsby).

Nadine graduated from North High School where she was voted most popular girl in her class. While still in high school she met her husband Frank Harold Chambers and married him on September 2nd of 1950. She went on to work in Downtown Nashville as a paralegal for years where she had a very large circle of friends and associates, then went on to own her own business. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her very good friend Bill. She also loved to shop, dine out at her favorite restaurants, and get her hair and nails done. Her houseplants became one of her favorite hobbies, she enjoyed caring for them.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Siblings, and Husband.

She is survived by her Son, Ronald T. Chambers: Grandchildren, Chrystal Chambers, Lee Chambers (Michelle), Rebecca Sura (Felipe), and Benjamin Chambers: Great Grandchildren, Amberleigh and Sebastian Cienfuegos, Haley Chambers, and Austin and Annabella Sura: As well as, her very good friend of over 30 years, William E. (Bill) Johnson.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Nadine will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a Cryptside Service at 5:00pm.
