I performed Nancy and Edward's wedding. It was a pleasure getting to know them and I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. Although my time knowing her was short, she made a lasting impression as a very kind, good and decent person and I wish her husband and family a peace that passes all understanding. I hope you are comforted by the many years of good memories you shared with Nancy.

Fly high my dear friend, your friendship was priceless to me. I will never forget setting at Vanderbilt scared for my mom's upcoming surgery and you and Eddie show up with food and friendship and a place to sleep. I love you both.
