Nancy R. Ward

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Nannie Vanatta, and a granddaughter, Andrea Ward.

Nancy was a common denominator of people despite the number or genre and never knew a stranger always greeting them with a big smile. If lost she could find you, if skies were grey she could make the sun shine. Nancy loved everyone she came in contact with and everyone truly loved her. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who ever knew her.

She is survived by her husband and soul mate of many years, Ronnie M. Ward; her children, Gerri Lynn (Wayne) Hailey, Joey (Charisse) Ward, Kevin (Lisa) Ward, and Denise (Ryan) Kirby. Nancy is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Breedlove; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from four o’ clock in the evening until eight on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at one o’ clock in the afternoon on Saturday, January 23, 2016 with visitation one hour prior at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
