
Nathaniel received his early education at Koforidua Secondary Technical School and later graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. His dedication to education led him to teach Chemistry at Fisk University, where he served for two years and made a lasting impact on his students.
On June 14, 1986, Nathaniel married the love of his life, Comfort Foli, in Koforidua, Ghana. Their marriage was built on faith, love, and devotion, values that guided him throughout his life.
Nathaniel worked as a Direct Support Staff member with Rochelle Center and RHA Health Services in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was known for his compassion, patience, and commitment to helping others. A devoted man of faith, he was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Tennessee.
In his free time, Nathaniel enjoyed putting things together, engaging in DIY projects, and spending quality time with his family—activities that brought him great joy and fulfillment.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Comfort Foli; his children, David Foli, Cynthia Woollams, and Dorcas Afriyie; and his cherished grandchildren, Makayla Taylor and Mackenzie Taylor; as well as, his brother, Samson Doe Foli and extended family, Togbui Kotoku Agbenozan, Juliette Foli, and Michael Tendor. Nathaniel will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, strong faith, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
