Pamela Gae Allen

Pam Allen of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Oct 11, 2026 after a courageous three-year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Pasadena, CA on July1, 1945 and lived in Southern California until she married her second husband, Harry Allen. Harry and Pam led an interesting life in Pasadena, CA; Stanford, CA; Washington, DC and Las Vegas, NV before winding up in the Music City.

In her early days, Pam graduated from the College of Portland and assumed the position of Vice President in her family’s business, Nally’s Uniforms, in Glendale, CA. The business was the largest supplier of school apparel in the Western US and made uniforms for the Disneyland band and the 1984 USA Olympic team. She also worked as a schoolteacher and a Real Estate agent.

Pam is survived by her husband, Harry; son, Mark Astleford; daughter, Erica Sechrist, and her husband Robert; her step-daughters Lauren (Mike) Berry and Kristin (Warren) Pryor and three grandchildren, Michael Sechrist, Peter Sechrist and Margaret “Maggie” Sechrist; her brother, Norman Nally of Hawaii; her sisters-in-law, Maureen Nally and Erin (Bill) Camden; and her nieces and nephews, Ava (Smith) Susank, Alexandra (Nally) Sparnon, Rebecca Nally, Gabriel Nally, Sasha Nally, and Carmen Nally. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius Nally and Margaret (Carney) Nally; her sister Beverly (Nally) Sobraske; and brother Timothy Nally.

Pam would be very unhappy if her favorite hobby did not receive significant coverage. She was a Gold Life Master competitive bridge player. Not only did her play gain her admiration (and even a little fear) from her opponents but it was where she met Harry who remained one of her favorite partners. Harry and Pam are active members of the Vanderbilt Duplicate Bridge Cub.

Pam was a life-long Roman Catholic and a member of Christ The King Catholic Church.
