

Pamela was born in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Jacqueline Nina Poen and the late Elgie Bandy. In her earlier years, she enjoyed working in the garden. She worked at Bell South where she was first a Service Representative and then later a Cable Assigner. While working at Bell South, Pamela met Ralph, her husband of twenty-six years, and has devoted all of her love and time to him ever since.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph P. Hardin; one daughter, Connie Pruitt and her husband, Rodney; two step-sons, Kyle Hardin and his wife Michelle, and Clay Hardin and his wife, Jennifer; one sister, Patricia and her husband, Mike Jones; two brothers, Rick Poen and his wife, Diane, and Michael Poen; five four-legged children, Samantha, Serena, Fluffy, McCormick and Mia; and several other family members and friends that loved her dearly.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015, from ten o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 2, 2015, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Hubert Cunningham officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in the Cross Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be donated in Pamela’s name to any of the following: Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Club of America, Boy Scouts of America, Mayo Clinic or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
