

Patricia Keogh Kenning was born in Indianapolis, IN, on May 13th, 1924, the youngest of four sisters. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer Richard “Ken” Kenning. Patty is survived by two sons, Thomas Joseph Kenning and John Austin Kenning.
Patty graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, IN. In Indianapolis, Patty was an active member of the Legion of Mary, a Catholic outreach organization. She also worked in the Indianapolis office of Inland Steel Corporation, where she met her loving husband, Ken. The family moved to Nashville, TN, in 1962 when Ken was transferred. Patty lived in the family home on Blackburn Avenue until 2014.
In Nashville, Patty was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church and The Ladies of Charity. In 2014, Patty moved to the Mary Queen of Angels apartment complex, where she was a member of the senior community.
Patty will be missed and remembered by her sons as a loving mother and by her many acquaintances as a wonderful friend.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 from 11 AM-1 PM at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in the chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM also in the chapel. The rosary will be recited by The Ladies of Charity prior to the visitation. Burial will be held at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
