

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, David P. Wrenne III, and brothers Norman “Bub” Batson, Marvin “Joe” Batson, and John Batson.
Born March 18, 1935 in Nashville, TN Patsy is survived by her sister-in-law Carol Batson; children Angie Murphy, Linda Rhea, Marianne Robertson (Reggie), David Wrenne IV, Patty Ayers, Julie Meier; grandchildren Zack Murphy, Walton Murphy, Marti Rhea, Travis Rhea (Gabby), Reginald Robertson (Lauren), Renee Quezada (Derek), Michael Robertson, Anne Willis (Ben), Ashley Mueller (Eric), Daniel Wrenne (Allison), Mitchell Wrenne, Michael Ayers, Katy Buford (Spencer), Landon Meier (Dorsey), Chance Meier (Tara) and Noah Meier.
Patsy is also survived by great-grandchildren Kaylin Morongell (Kody), Josai McCoy, Violet Rhea, Jasmine Rhea, Kingston Rhea, Reggie Robertson-Shipp, Ren Robertson-Shipp, Callen Quezada, Kaiden Quezada, Noah Wrenne, Henry Wrenne, Andrew Wrenne, Josiah Willis, Eli Willis, Ansley Ayers, Michael Ayers, Beau Buford, Bella Buford, Emmy Meier, Millie Meier and Kate Meier, and great-great grandson Grayson Michael Morongell.
Patsy graduated from St. Cecilia Academy in 1953, married her sweetheart David Wrenne in 1955, and they made a home for their 6 children in Nashville. At age 37, Patsy returned to college at the University of Tennessee Nashville to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught 5th grade at St. Ann School for 5 years. After a stint of data processing with EDS Federal, Patsy became an Adjuster for CNA Financial. She retired in 1999 to enjoy her children, grandchildren and her many other interests.
She was active in the Colonna Club and the Nashville Catholic Business Women's League, serving as president from 1991-1992. Patsy enjoyed visiting friends, always with a thoughtful gift in tow, playing Bridge, and weekend getaways with the many people she cared for. She loved opportunities to see her many out of town relatives and made memorable pilgrimages to Canada, Ireland and Scotland.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4 from 4-7pm at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, 201 25th Ave North in Nashville. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, September 5th at 1:00 pm at Christ The King Church, 3001 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, followed by internment at Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike, Nashville.
