Paul Dean Oldham

Mr. Paul D. Oldham age 82, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017. Mr. Oldham was born March 12, 1935, in Hartsville, TN, to the late Monroe and Marietta Oldham. He was a Baptist minister, and retired from The Tennessean. Mr. Oldham was a member of the Lincoya Hills Baptist Church. in addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Carl Oldham. Surviving are his devoted wife of 61 years Sarah Oldham. Sons and daughters-in-law; Bruce (Rhonda) Oldham, and Ben (Angie) Oldham. Grandchildren; Nick Oldham, Bailey Oldham, Emily Nelson, Kaylee Baltazar, and Elijah Paul Oldham. Sister Betty Coon. A brother Sam Oldham. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, October 10, 2017, 1 PM, at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, October 9, from 3 PM until 7 PM, and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at Mount Olivet Funeral home & Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to MTSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry in Mr. Oldham's memory.
