Ms. Paula Sanders of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 24th after a brief illness. Paula was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on October 20th, 1929. Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Sanders, Jr.; brother, William Drexel Waites; and parents, William F. Waites and Gertha A. Waites of Cookeville. She is survived by her sons, R. Franklin Sanders (Emily) and Maxey L. Sanders (Debbie); her grandchildren, Stephen W. Sanders and Stephanie L. Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paula worked in the automobile business most of her life. Most recently she worked for Cumberland Toyota in Cookeville, Tennesee. Her family would like to thank Lanny Dunn, her friend and boss, for his continued friendship and support through the years. Also, the family would like to thank her doctors and nurses for their excellent care and a special thank you to her caregiver, Tracey Bright, for her compassion and care for Paula. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from noon to two-thirty in the afternoon, followed by a graveside service at two-thirty also at Woodlawn.
