

Age 95. A retired South Central Bell Service Representative - Passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren Marsh Goodwin, mother, Elinor Townes Hill Newman, and father, Charles Vertrees Newman.
Survived by her son, Warren Newman Goodwin (Dana), Granddaughter, Leigh Anne Goodwin Rainey (Todd), Grandson, Warren Cameron Goodwin (Beth) and four great grandchildren: Taylor Rainey, Daniel Rainey, Jake Rainey and Gracey Goodwin.
Mrs. Goodwin, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, volunteer at Bill Wilkerson Hearing and Speech Center, Life member of the United Methodist Church and a founding member of Crievewood United Methodist Church - A dedicated volunteer at St. Thomas Hospital and instrumental in helping to create Camp Bluebird Adult Cancer Camp.
Visitation with the family will be conducted at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thompson Lane on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from eleven o’clock until one o’clock.
