Peggy Jane (Turner) Hailey

Peggy Jane (Turner) Hailey, age 90 of Antioch, Tennessee, and formerly of Brentwood, Tennessee, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 1, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1931 in Camden, Tennessee to the late, Ward Wesley and Agnes Earline (Bridges) Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, MargaretHailey Meek; siblings Frank Turner and Ruth Turner.

Peggy is survived by her husband of over 70 years, John C. Hailey, Sr. of Antioch, Tennessee, son, John C. Hailey, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Fairhope, Alabama; son-in-law, Ronnie Meek of Arrington, Tennessee; sibling Rosemary Rooney of Globe, Arizona, grandchildren, Isaac Meek and his wife Stephanie, Arwen Jones and her husband Jeremy, Valerie Jane Parker, Lauren Mosley and her husband Jeff, John C. Hailey, III, and his wife Mary Emma, Carolyn Lohman and her husband Jordan, ( 12 ) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Peggy was known to have a green thumb. She was always spending time with either her garden or working of the flowers that adorned her yard. She worked for the State of Tennessee as a data clerk for over 20 years.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from ten o'clock in the morning until twelve noon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at twelve noon, Monday, April 5, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark S. Bryan to Officiate. Interment will follow in

Woodlawn Memorial Park.
