
I lived for over 20 years in the Wessex Towers condominium in Nashville where P eter and his wife Susan lived,  I did not know too many of my neighbors, but I considered him my most astute and pleasant friend in the building . Peter and I would gather periodically in the lobby with a few other gentleman and discuss wordly situations.

I left Wessex in 2017 and found occasion to call call Peter a few years later and learned of his passing.   Despite my departure I think of Peter and truly miss him.  I wish Susan and the rest of his family well The world is truly short one important man in the guise of Peter Weiss.

Peter was one of my best friends when I lived at Wessex Towers until 2017.   I wrote to him yesterday, having not heard he had passed away a few months ago.  He would often come down to the Wessex  office and I would discuss various matters with him, like how we were able to afford a new parking lot without an assessment.  I liked Peter because he was a decent and likeable man   who was not affected by social distractions and gossip.    He was smart and a real pleasure and privilege to have as a neighbor.    In a way I am glad I left Wessex before I would have experienced a great  sadness to lose my friend.  I will miss him.
