Polly Anderson Spann, aka Mimi, age 88, passed away peacefully Tues November 3, 2020.
Born in Ashland City, Polly spent nearly her entire life in TN. She retired from Kroger’s Accounting Dept after 25 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Aldridge A Anderson & Naomi C Anderson; devout husband Robert F Spann; brother, Raymond Anderson (Dorothy), and sister Peggy Holt (Paul); She is survived by brother Arvin Anderson (Pat) and sister, Ruth Reynolds (James); daughters, Jennifer S Day (Wayne) and Deborah S Mason (Joey); grandchildren, Heather Proctor (John) and Eric Bergeron; great grandsons, Aubrey Proctor and Anderson Proctor (honorably named after Polly), and great granddaughter, Jennifer Proctor.
Mimi, known for her sharp wit and humor, compassion, and generosity, will be missed tremendously by her family and friends.
Private graveside service with immediate family to be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor can be made to St Jude’s Hospital & Alive Hospice.
