

Randall Bruce McKenzie of Nashville, TN, age 72, passed away peacefully on 3 April, 2026. Known as Randy to family and friends, he will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church on 6 May.
The youngest of three brothers, Randy was born in Denver, Colorado on 25 August, 1953. After the family’s move to Memphis, Tennessee, Randy graduated from Germantown High School and attended Memphis State University. He married Beverly Brookes Dean of Tribbett, Mississippi on May 25, 1976. Following in his father’s footsteps, Randy was employed by the Zale Corporation’s Fine Jewelers Guild, moving to Nashville in 1981 as area manager of Brodnax Jewelers. He later accepted a regional sales position with Spark Creations, traveling their southeast territory for 45 years.
Randy enjoyed his work and valued close friendships and connections with clients and their families. He had an engaging personality, a generous spirit, a love for telling stories, and a distinctive laugh that touched many lives.
He is survived by Beverly, his wife of 46 years, their son, Dean, and wife, Elena, and two granddaughters: Ella Margaret and Cameron Brooke of Charlotte, NC; Brother; Robert Lance McKenzie and wife, Judy, of Goodlettsville, TN; Sister-in-Law, Karen McKenzie of Fort Worth, TX; Nephew, Shawn McKenzie and wife, Kristen, of Cottontown, TN and their children: Mya and Brice; Niece, Kimberly Bazillion and husband, David, of Fort Worth TX; Nephew, Robert McKenzie and wife, Lisa, of Rexburg, ID; Sister-in-law, Evelyn Dean Stevens and husband, John, of West Memphis, AR; Brother-in-law, Cameron Dean, Jr. and wife, Kim, of Tyler, TX; Other nieces and nephews include: Mary Evelyn Stevens Fore, Beverly Brookes Stevens, Martha Kimbriel Dean, Darrah Dean Gooden, and Cameron Dean, III.
Family members preceding Randy’s death were his father, Harold Bruce McKenzie; mother, Juanita Lehr McKenzie; and brother, James Lehr McKenzie.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Mission of Hope.
