MOTLEY, Raymond J., age 93, went home to Jesus on October 27, 2014. Mr. Motley was a WWII Veteran, serving in the 80th Infantry Division of Patton’s Third Army. He was a Master Sergeant and a Forward Observer. His unit liberated Buchenwald Concentration Camp in 1945. Burial will be with full military honors. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Lillian Inez Motley, on July 28, 2012. He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Joan Motley (Carl) Bradley, sons, Victor Motley and Ronald Motley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chaplain John Barnes will be officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
