Reginald Carlston Walker

He was born November 11, 1953 at 661 Bass Street, Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Dr. A.M. Walker and Martha Tidwell Walker.

Reginald professed a Hope in Christ at age six years and became a member of the Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee under the pastorate of his father the Rev. Dr. A.M. Walker. He later transferred his membership to the St. Luke M.B. Church, Nashville, Tennessee of which his father was pastor. He still holds membership at the church.

Reginald attended the Metro Public School System, Tennessee State University, and Belmont University. He went into the United States Air Force and served two and ½ years.

Reginald is survived by his two sons, Mark (Akisha) Sowell and Anthony(Felisha/ Shavika) Sowell; Three granddaughters, Makayla, Marcella, and Oliviyah Sowell; A Dear Aunt Mrs. Dorothy Cole of Detroit, Michigan. A host of other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family & friends for Reginald will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204 follow by a celebration of life service at 2:30 PM.

A committal service will occur Monday, March 10, 2025 at 3:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
