

BIBLE, Anthony Rex – Age 74, a native of Greeneville, TN, was born on December 4, 1937, and passed away at St. Thomas Hospital on June 11, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Walter Preston and Willie Florence Bible; brothers, Walter Preston, Jr., Grover, Wallace, Jack, and Paul; and sister, Imogene. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Morrison Bible; son, Jamey Allen (Jennifer) Bible; daughter, Amanda Jane (David) Williams; grandchildren, Abbey Elizabeth Bible, Ethan Rex Bible, Etta Josephine Williams, Luca David Williams, and Julian Cash Williams; and sister-in-law, Wanda Lee Dyer; and many nieces and nephews. Rex was a golf enthusiast from his early twenties and became an elected member of the PGA of America in 1974 and remained a lifetime member. He was an avid University of Tennessee sports fan. And most of all, he was a proud papaw of all five of his grandkids! A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 with visitation from 12:30 p.m. up until the time of service. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Hartman’s Chapel Cemetery in Greeneville, TN.
