Karol, I am sending lots of love and peace to you and the family. As you know, I met Richard in 1964 when I moved to Nashville and he and Bob were roommates living in the apartment upstairs. Little did I know then how our lives would intersect through the years. I am carrying you and the entire family in my heart. He was a very special man.

My Sweet Friend , as all your friends and family, Johnny and I are so sad about the loss of your lifetime love Richard. He was a very special man who loved his family above everything else, his three sons and grandchildren were his life. And Karol you were the love of his life. Not many marriages can last 50 plus years but yours did. We all loved him too and I will never forget all the jokes he told each time we were together and his genuine hospitality. Karol I am at a loss for words as I send this message to you. You know how much I love both you and Richard and this is breaking a lot of hearts. Richard was a bigger than life personality and was so loved by all who knew him, especially his family and friends. He loved deeply and wanted to be surrounded by his family all the time and he was so proud of all three of his boys . I have watched how he adored his grandkids and loved talking about them with such pride and was so proud of each and every one of them. . We will all miss him immensely but God had prepared a place for him and was ready for him to share eternity with Him. We will continue to miss him and remember him fondly forever. God Bless you and all the family. May he Rest In Peace. All God’s Blessings be with you. Gayle

Karol I'm so sorry to read that Richard has passed away. The love you shared was so written in your face all those times I was in your office delivering charts eating peppermints and picking said damn charts. I hope your family are well and that this loss is measured in good memories not the last.
Love you and we talk again soon Jeff Morris
