Robert M. Boerner

Mr. Robert M. Boerner, age 71, of Franklin, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was a Certified Public Accountant. He enjoyed many passions in life: a AKC show dog breeder, an Equine Lover, a major Atlanta Braves Fan and a Nashville Predators Fan. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He was born in Louisville, Ky on March 16, 1940, to the late, Robert Clarence & Virginia Lively (Martin) Boerner. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Sondra S. Boerner. Survivors are: his partner, Kaye Atkinson, of Franklin, TN; Daughter's: Debby Adams, of Smyrna, TN; Janet Boerner, of Griffin, GA; and Pam and her husband Paul Hardin of Antioch, TN; Son: Robbie Boerner of Franklin, TN; Four Grandchildren and Sister: Joann Bradley. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2011 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with Interment to follow in the Garden of Last Supper, Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from two o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the Lincoln Drawing Room at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. In lieu of traditional memorials, the family has requested that donations be made in honor of Mr. Boerner to: The American Heart Association, The American Kidney Association, and The American Diabetes Association.
