I didn’t really get a chance to get to say goodbye when you passed. Neither did my dad. We both loved you dearly. I’ll never forget the day you came and rescued us from us getting locked in the closet with a staircase to nowhere. I’m gonna graduate college soon— I just want you to know that I’m still thinking about you, that I love you, that I’m grateful for the impact that you had on my childhood, and that a part of you will forever live on within the memories of the people who care about you. 
You’re going into my first Visual Development Portfolio for a Western. I hope you’d like that.

Bob and I were best friends from 1973-1976 in the Army Security Agency stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. My first born Tommy and his first born Chris were within a year of each other. His wife Faye, my wife Sue  and us gathered many times during those years and were best of friends. The video is wonderful and I'm glad Bob lived a wonderful life after we parted. I tried to search for him on Facebook but was too late. I learned about this video from a mutual friend on Facebook. Our condolences to Faye, Chris and the family. Sincerely, Tom and Sue Lamonde. Life is not just about the life we live, but the lives we touch while we live.  Bob touched so many lives.  He was quietly inspiring, always teaching in his words but also by his deeds and actions.  He was a friend, a father figure, and he will be missed.  I hope Mufasa is one of the first five people I meet when I get to heaven.

Bob holds a special place in the hearts of our kids. We knew we didn't 't have to worry about them while they were working at Widji - with Mufassa watching them.

Brandy and family, my condolences to you all during this difficult time. Although I didn't know him, it was obvious from the photographs how much he loved his family and how loved he was. I pray for peace and comfort in the days ahead. May sweet memories replace your sorrow.
