Robert (Bob) Donahue, 94, of Nashville, passed away October 21, 2018. Bob was born May 12, 1924 in West Frankfort, IL to Ed and Sophie Shade Donahue. He attended Southern Illinois University. He was a US Army World War II veteran, 188th Field Artillery Battalion, serving in Europe, including the Battle of the Bulge. He was the proud owner of Beltone Hearing Aid Center, Nashville, for 20 years. Bob was a member of Crievewood Methodist Church and served as president of the Builders Class for several years.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Patricia Davis Donahue, and his children, Rob (Connie), Andy (Joan), Sally Donahue Folk (John); five grandchildren, Tim Donahue, Chris Donahue, Laura Donahue Navin (Sean), Susan Folk Irby (Clay), and Robbie Folk, and great-grandson, John Clayton Irby.
Visitation will be held at Crievewood United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 24, from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Funeral services and burial will be held at 1 pm Wednesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
